Yangxian Town, belonging to Laiyang City, Yantai City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Laiyang City, neighboring Xingcun Town, Haiyang City, to the east, bordering on the Yellow Sea to the south and Jimo City, across the sea, connecting with Cave Square and Gaogezhuang Town to the west, and bordering with Dakuang Town to the north, with an area of 82.55 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Yangxian Town is 28,112. From the middle of the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Fengshan Township; in May 1962, Gaogezhuang Commune was set up in the northwest of Yanshun Commune; in 1984, Yanshun Commune was abolished and Yanshun Town was established. As of June 2020, Yangxian Town has 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Yangxianji Village.
