Yantan District, belonging to Zigong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin and the southern part of Zigong City, between latitude 29°23′19″~29°67′53″N and longitude 104°40′42″~105°58′0″E. It is connected with Fushun County in the east and adjoins Ziliujing District in the west.
