Sanhe Township, belonging to Xuanhan County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southeastern part of Xuanhan County, neighboring Qingxi Township in the east, Dongxiang Township in the south, Bashao Township in the west and Huangshi Township in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 48.61 square kilometers.
The field was established in the 27th year of Qing Guangxu (1901), with the ancient name of Tiexihe and Tongxing field, belonging to Dongxiang County.In April 1983, the commune was changed to a township.On June 12, 2020, Dongxiang Township, Liuchi Township, Donglin Township and Sanhe Township were abolished, and Dongxiang Street and Pujiang Street were established. As of October 2019, Three Rivers Township has one community and six administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at 15 Tiexi Street. As of the end of 2018, Sanhe Township had a household population of 14,010.
