Limba Township, belonging to Quxian County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Quxian County, bordering Longtan Township in the east, Xixi Township in the south, Hedong Township, Lifu Township, and Qubei Township in the west, and Dong'an Township and Liuxi Township in the north. On December 18, 2019, the People's Government of Sichuan Province approved the reply of Dazhou City on agreeing to adjust the administrative divisions of some townships in five counties (districts), including Tongchuan District (Chuanfu Civil Affairs 〔2019〕 No. 21): Hedong Township, Longtan Township, and Xixi Township were abolished, and the administrative areas belonging to the former Hedong Township, the former Longtan Township, and the former Xixi Township were transferred under the jurisdiction of Limba Township. As of June 2020, Linba Township has 6 communities and 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at No. 88, Happy Avenue.
