Daho Township, belonging to Bazhou District of Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Bazhou District, neighboring with Yangbai Township and Torch Township of Tongjiang County in the east, connecting with Huaxi Township and Shuningsi Township in the south, bordering with Qingjiang Township in the west, and Guandu Township in the north, with a total area of 38.56 square kilometers.
During the Republic of China period, the territory of Daho Township belonged to the 7th, 8th and 9th Bao of Qingjiang Township; in 1984, Daho Commune was changed to Daho Township. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Yamato Township was 12,588. As of June 2020, there are 1 community and 5 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Dawa Commune, with the People's Government of the commune stationed in Dalotang Commune.
