Guang'an City, also known as Tribute State, Tribute City, Sichuan Province, prefecture-level city, located in the eastern Sichuan Basin, is located in the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, four distinct seasons, warm climate, abundant rainfall, rich in produce, the territory of the Jialing River, the Qiujiang River twists and turns back to the ring, Huayhuash Mountain, Tongluo Mountain, Mingyue Mountain parallel distribution in the eastern part of the city. With a total area of 6,339 square kilometers, the city has two districts and three counties under its jurisdiction, with one county-level city in its place. It has a deep cultural heritage, nurturing unique folk customs such as Yun Tong Dance and Yuechi Lantern Opera, and has won the awards of National Civilized City and National Garden City, etc. In 2022, the People's Government of Sichuan Province made it clear that Guang'an is to build the Pilot Free Trade Zone of Sichuan as a pilot zone for coordinated reforms.
In 2023, Guang'an's GDP was 151.25 billion yuan, up 6.6% from the previous year.
