Cao mill Manchu Township, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Ulanqab City, Liangcheng County, under the jurisdiction of the township, is located in the south of Liangcheng County, east and northeast of the neighboring Tiancheng Township, the Great Wall in the south of Datong City, Shanxi Province, Zuoyun County, Zuoyun County, Guanbao Township, west and northwest of six Sumu Township, adjacent to the administrative area of 690 square kilometers.
During the Republic of China period, it belonged to the third district under Liangcheng County; in October 1958, Cao Mian Township was changed to a commune; in June 2005, Factory Hanying Township was merged into Cao Mian Township and renamed Cao Mian Manchu Township. As of the end of 2018, there were 24,753 householders in Cao Mian Manchu Township. As of June 2020, there are 21 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Cao Mian Manchu Township.
