Bayanhadar Sumu, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hulunbeier City Chenbaerhu Banner, is located in the northern part of the Chenbaerhu Banner, east and Ewenke Nationality Sumu adjacent to the town of Bayan Kuren in the south, connected to the town of Bayan Kuren, the west and the East Wuzhuer Sumu border, north of the Erguna Boundary River, the administrative region covers an area of 2,880 square kilometers.
In 1961, Bayanhada Commune was set up; in 1984, Bayanhada Commune was changed into a soum; in 2006, it was incorporated into Bayankuren Town; in 2010, Bayanhada soum was restored. As of the end of 2018, Bayanhada soum had a household population of 8,006. As of June 2020, Bayanhada Soum is under the jurisdiction of one community, five administrative villages, and another village-level unit.
