Linghe District belongs to Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, located in the eastern part of Jinzhou city, as the main urban area of Jinzhou City, is the political, transportation, economic center of Jinzhou City and the west of Liaosi region where the flow of people, logistics and information flow converge. It is the core urban area of the center city of West Liaosi Coastal Economic Zone. The center point of geographic coordinates is 121°8′40″E longitude and 41°6′55″N latitude. Climate is continental temperate monsoon climate, warm and humid in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and suitable in fall, and cold and less snow in winter; the terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. With a total area of 42 square kilometers, in 2022, Linghe District had a resident population of 402,000 people. As of June 2023, Linghe District has six streets under its jurisdiction. The district government is located at No. 25, Section 5, Jiefang Road. Linghe District was renamed Linghe District on April 1, 1959, from Jintie District in Jinzhou City, named after the Xiaoling River in its territory. There are two provincial colleges and universities and one municipal higher education institution in the district. There are provincial cultural relics protection units - Liao Shen Battle Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower, Liao Shen Battle Martyrs Mausoleum is the first batch of national key martyrs memorial buildings. Non-heritage culture has one national project, four provincial projects and five municipal projects. There are tourist attractions such as Jinzhou Antique City, Liao-Shen Battle Memorial Hall and Jinzhou East Lake Forest Park. In 2022, Linghe District realized a GDP of 12.7 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1% year-on-year, of which the added value of the primary industry was 0.11 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year, the added value of the secondary industry was 1.96 billion yuan, an increase of -3.9% year-on-year, and the added value of the tertiary industry was 10.73 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2% year-on-year; the income of the local general public budget was 8.17 billion yuan, an increase of 43.4%; local general public budget expenditure of 1.11 billion yuan, up 22.9%. Total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 8.93 billion.
