Anmin Township, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, Zhenxing District under the jurisdiction of the town, is located in the southern part of Zhenxing District, east to Langtou Township, west to the Jianghai Street Office, the northern boundary of Tangchi Township, administrative area of 20.09 square kilometers.
In August 1961, Anmin Commune, a suburb of Andong City, was established (transferred from Langtou Commune, a suburb of Andong City); in 1993, Anmin Township was withdrawn from the township and established as a township; in October 2008, Anmin Township was transferred from Zhenxing District to Dandong Border Economy Cooperation Zone. As of the end of 2018, Anmin Township had a household population of 12,306. As of June 2020, Anmin Township has 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Anmin Township was 19 million yuan. From the perspective of each major tax, the completion of sales tax of 24 million yuan, value-added tax of 4.1 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 26.5%, -57% over the previous year.
