Anmin Town, belonging to Xifeng County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the eastern part of Xifeng County, which is the border between Xifeng County and Dongfeng County and Dongliao County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, and is adjacent to Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, in the east, Zhenxing Town in the south, Gengcheng Town in the west, and Taoran Town in the north, with an administrative area of 175.71 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Anmin Town was 19,349. From 1955 to January 1958, it was Anmin Township, part of Xifeng County's Zhenxing District; in January 1984, it was changed to Anmin Township; in September of the same year, it was changed to Anmin Township.
