Haizhou District, belonging to Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is one of the central districts of Fuxin City, located between longitude 121°33′-121°42′E and latitude 41°54′-42°01′N, adjoining Taiping District in the east, bordering Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County in the south and southeast, and connecting to Xihe District in the north and northwest, with a northeast to southwest orientation. It is oriented from northeast to southwest. According to the seventh national census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, Haizhou District had a resident population of 234,029 people. The total area is 79.53 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Haizhou District has six streets and one town under its jurisdiction. In 2020, Haizhou District is expected to complete a gross regional product of 7.55 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5%; general public budget revenue of 560 million yuan; per capita disposable income of urban residents 32,673 yuan, an increase of 5%.
