Shangli County, belonging to Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the western part of Jiangxi Province, Pingxiang City, due north, east of Yichun City, Luxi County, south of Anyuan Economic Development Zone, Xiangdong District, west of Liling City, Hunan Province, north of Liuyang City. Total area of 702 square kilometers. On February 13, 2020, it was awarded the title of 2019 National "Safe Agricultural Machinery" Demonstration County.
