Ruichang, county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, administered by Jiujiang City. Ruichang City is located in the north of Jiangxi Province, west of Jiujiang City, the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, east of Chaisang District, south of De'an County, Wuning County, west of Yangxin County in Hubei Province, north of Wuxia City, Hubei Province, across the Yangtze River. The city covers an area of 1,423 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 21 townships (towns, fields, streets).At the end of 2022, Ruichang city resident population of 394,300 people. In 1989, Ruichang County was abolished and Ruichang City was established. Ruichang City is located in the intersection area of Beijing-Kowloon Artery and Yangtze River Golden Waterway, with Hangzhou-Swiss Highway and Wujiang-Kowloon High-Speed Railway passing through the city.
