Fanchuan Town, belonging to Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northeastern part of Jiangdu District, neighboring Xiaogi Town in the east, Dinggou Town in the south, Zhenwu Town in the west, and bordering with Hanliu and Bashiqiao Towns of Gaoyou City in the north. The total area of the district is 116.11 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Fanchuan Town has a household population of 64,531.
Before the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), it belonged to Taizhou, Tai County, and Gaoyou County.In 2005, Yongan Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Fancheon Township has 5 communities and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at Fancheon Zhenxing Road.
