Quanshan District, belonging to Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the southwest of Xuzhou City, embracing Yunlong Lake and Yunlong Mountain, and is named after the Quanshan National Forest Park within its territory. As of November 2020, the resident population of Quanshan District is 619,784 people.
Within the Quanshan District, there is the China University of Mining and Technology National University Science and Technology Park, the only national university science and technology park in the north of Jiangsu Province and the Huaihai Economic Zone, as well as natural and humanistic landscapes such as the Huaihai Battle Martyrs' Memorial Hall, the Han Tomb on Lali Mountain, and the Han Portrait Stone Art Museum. It is the economic, educational and medical center of Xuzhou, and one of the core districts of Xuzhou mega-city. It is also a national advanced district for scientific and technological progress, a pilot district for the national intellectual property rights project, an advanced district for talents in Jiangsu Province, and an innovative pilot district in Jiangsu Province.
In 2020, Quanshan District will realize a GDP of 68.284 billion yuan, up 3.2%; general public budget revenue (expected) of 4.1 billion yuan, up 5.5%; total retail sales of consumer goods of 34.76 billion yuan; and fixed-asset investment up 6.6%.
