The Xuzhou Huaihai International Port Area is located in the northwestern part of Xuzhou’s central urban area. Established by Jiangsu Province and Xuzhou City to accelerate the development of the Xuzhou Huaihai International Land Port and create a new hub for inland openness, it bears the historic mission of serving the national “Belt and Road” Initiative as well as major provincial and municipal strategies.Since its establishment, the Port Area has adhered to high-level planning and high-standard construction, striving to become a new hub for international economic development, a regional model for high-quality “Belt and Road” development, a national gateway for east-west opening-up, a leading force in the rise of the Huaihai Economic Zone, and a demonstration zone for innovation in the open economy.
