Luolong District, belongs to Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is the administrative, economic, cultural and sports center of Luoyang. It is located on the south bank of the Luo River and in the southern half of the urban area of Luoyang City, with a total area of about 271 square kilometers. As of May 2023, Luolong District has 13 streets, 1 town, and 157 villages (communities).In 2022, Luolong District had a household population of 565,000 and a resident population of 724,000 people.
Luolong District was formerly a suburb of Luoyang City, and in 2000, it was renamed Luolong District. The district has highway entrances and exits such as Guanlin Station, Ganquanhe Station, Luolong Station, Longmen Station, the only high-speed railway station in Luoyang - Zhengxi High-speed Railway Luoyang Longmen Station, Metro Line 2 runs through the whole area, and the main attractions are: Longmen Grottoes, Guanlin Temple, China National Garden, Sui and Tang Dynasty Luoyang City Ribbon Area Ruins, and the former residence of Shao Yong, etc. The district has a total population of 560,000, with a permanent resident population of 50,000 people.

In 2022, the gross regional product of Luolong District will be 58.24 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% over the previous year, of which: the added value of the primary industry will be 620 million yuan, the added value of the secondary industry will be 15.04 billion yuan; the added value of the tertiary industry will be 42.58 billion yuan, and the structure of the three industries will be 1.1:24.8:73.1.
