Luolong District, belongs to Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is the administrative, economic, cultural and sports center of Luoyang. It is located on the south bank of the Luo River and in the southern half of the urban area of Luoyang City, with a total area of about 271 square kilometers. As of May 2023, Luolong District has 13 streets, 1 town, and 157 villages (communities).In 2022, Luolong District had a household population of 565,000 and a resident population of 724,000 people. Luolong District was formerly a suburb of Luoyang City, and in 2000, it was renamed Luolong District.
