Luanping Township, belonging to Luanping County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the central part of Luanping County, adjacent to Datun Manchu Township in the east and southeast, Changshanyu Township and Huodoushan Manchu Township in the south and southwest, Pingfang Manchu Township in the west and northwest, and Bolinao Township in Fengning County in the north and northeast, with an area of 141.65 square kilometers, and, as of 2018, a household population of 18,640 people.
In 1956, Luanping Township was established.In 1983, the West Street, Back Street, South Wafang, Stone Goumen, and Cangfang Nangou of Anshitun Township were merged into it.In 1990, Xiguayuan Township, Anshitun Township, and Beiliying Township were merged into it.On August 26, 2008, Zhongxing Road Street Office was analyzed and established. As of June 2020, Luanping Township has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
