Heibao Township, Hebei Province, Baoding City, Wangdu County township, is located in the western part of Wangdu County, 11 kilometers from the county town, bordering Wangdu Township in the east, neighboring with Gudian Township in the south, adjacent to Renhou Township in Tang County in the west, and connecting with Tizhuang Township in the north. The maximum distance between east and west of the jurisdiction is 7.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south is 11 kilometers, with a total area of 44 square kilometers, and at the end of 2018, Heibao Township had a total household population of 29,880. Heibao Township was named because the township government seat was originally located in the village of Dongheibao.In 1953, Heibao Township was built, belonging to Chengguan District.In 1962, Wangdu County resumed its establishment, and was reorganized as Heibao Commune.In January 1984, the township was re-established.
