Qintang District, under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guigang City. Geographic location is 108°58′48″~109°18′ east longitude, 22°48′~23°25′12″ north latitude, located in the northwest of Guigang City, west of the city's southwest corridor, the north to the Guzhang Township's Yuanjin Village, the south to the Daling Township's Guping Village, east of the Hong Kong North District and the Hongkong South District border, south of Hengxian County connected to the west of the Binyang County, the north of the city and the Laibin City, Xingbin District, Wuxuan County, as a neighbor. The administrative area is 1,352 square kilometers. According to the seventh population census, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Qintang District was 423,747 people. In 1996, the county-level district established, called Qantang Management District.In March 2003, the county-level administrative district Qantang District was established.It is the 2005 top ten counties of economic development in Guangxi, the pilot unit of the national rural governance system construction, and the 2019 advanced county of high-quality development in Guangxi.
In 2021, Qantang District realized a gross regional product of 22.335 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.2% at comparable prices. The primary industry amounted to 3.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, the secondary industry 13.382 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%, and the tertiary industry 5.243 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%.
