Tongwei County, belonging to Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the center of Gansu, east of Dingxi City, since the Han Yuan Ding three years (114 BC) set up the county, has a history of more than 2,100 years. With a total area of 2908.5 square kilometers, it now has 18 townships, 332 villages and 10 communities under its jurisdiction, and the county government is located in Pingxiang Town.
