Nanhai District, belongs to Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta and the northeastern part of Foshan City. It is connected to Guangzhou City District in the east, Sanshui District and Gaoming District in the west, Shunde District in the south, and Pengjiang District and Heshan City in Jiangmen City across the Xijiang River, bordering Huadu District in Guangzhou City in the north, and Chancheng District in the south-central part of the city, with a total area of 1071.55 square kilometers.
