Ninghua County (Ninghua County of Tingzhou Prefecture) belongs to Sanming City, Fujian Province, is located in the western part of Fujian Province, the eastern foot of Wuyi Mountain, east of Mingxi and Qingliu Counties, west of Jiangxi Province, adjacent to the Shicheng and Guangchang Counties, south of Changting County, north of the border of Jianning County, is a major key to Fujian to Jiangxi Province. The territory is 78.29 kilometers long from north to south and 68.08 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 2407.46 square kilometers. The main rivers, Dongxi and Xixi, converge in the eastern suburb of the county and are called Cuijiang.
