Shifang Town, belonging to Wuping County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeastern part of Wuping County, with an area of 156.15 square kilometers, arable land area of 22,200 acres, a forested area of 167,000 acres, a household population of 39,981 (2018), and 19 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of 19 administrative villages (2019), making it a populous, industrial, economic, and commercial town in Wuping County. Shifang Town is a transportation hub in the combination of Fujian, Guangdong and Gan provinces, National Highway 205 and Provincial Highway 309 intersect in the town, Yongwu Expressway and Gwu Expressway intersect in the town and have interchange exits, and the Longlong High-speed Railway sets up the Wuping Station under the bamboo sizi of Freshwater Village in Shifang Town.
