Xinmiao Town belongs to the jurisdiction of Fuling District of Chongqing Municipality, located in the southwest of Shilong Township, 58.2 kilometers from the city. It relies on Shilong Township in the north, Fortress Township and Zhonghe Township in the east, Zengfu Township in the south, and Longxing in the west. The total area is 482,000 mu.
