Yongping Township is located in the northern border of Yongshou County, Shaanxi Province, located in the Yongshou page around the beam, east and Duoma Township across the ditch, west neighboring Baoji Linyou County, south of the Supervisory Army, north of Binxian Taiyu Township border, 312 State Road through the territory, 14 kilometers away from the county seat. Total area of 160.2 square kilometers, altitude of 1426 meters, the average temperature of 8.7 degrees, the average annual precipitation of about 661 mm, frost-free period of 180 days. The township government is located in Yufeng Village, covering an area of 4,586.9 square meters. Yongping Township was established in 1956, when the old county township, in September 1958 changed to Yongping People's Commune; 1984 restored the township establishment, renamed Yongping Township; November 2001 township institutional reform, the abolition of the original establishment of the township of Pingyao, the bottom of the ditch and into the Yongping Township.
