Jiulongpo District, belonging to Chongqing Municipality, is located in the western part of the main urban area of Chongqing, with geographic coordinates between approximately longitude 106°14'52"~106°32155" East and latitude 29°15'29"~29°33'44" North, and has a total area of 432 square kilometers.In 2022, Jiulongpo District had a resident population of 1,535,600 people. As of October 2021, Jiulongpo District has 9 streets and 10 towns under its jurisdiction, with the district people's government stationed at No. 27, Xijiao Road, Yangjiaping Street.
In 1952, Jiulongpo District belonged to the fourth district of Chongqing, and in 1955, the fourth district was named Jiulongpo District. Jiulongpo District has the proportion of national highway level 2 and above, provincial level 3 and above are 100%. Jiulongpo District is a pilot city for the construction of national urban medical consortium, a national model city for double embrace, and a national health city.
