Sun Gang Town, belonging to Jin'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, is located in the southeastern part of Jin'an District, adjacent to Feixi County, Hefei City, in the east, bordering with Shuanghe Town and Shiqiao Town in the south, adjacent to Zhangdian Town and Mr. Store Township in the west and Tsubaki Township in the north, 25 kilometers away from Jin'an District District, with a total regional area of 135.23 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Sungang Township was 57,221. Before liberation, it belonged to Luotuanmiao District of Lu'an County; in August 1984, it was changed from Sungang Township to Sungang Township. As of June 2020, Sungang Township has 1 community and 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in Sungang Village.
