Jin'an District, belongs to Anhui Lu'an City. Belonging to the main city of Lu'an City, is the political, economic and cultural center of Lu'an City, the national-level Wanjiang City Belt to undertake industrial transfer demonstration zone and an important part of the Hefei Economic Circle. It is located in the east of Lu'an City, east of the provincial capital Hefei, north of Shouxian County, south of Shucheng County, west of Yu'an District. As of 2020, it covers an area of 1,657 square kilometers, with 17 townships, 5 streets and the provincial-level Jin'an Economic Development Zone (Lu'an Centralized Demonstration Park) under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of the end of 2022, Jin'an District had a resident population of 877,000 people. Jinan, established in September 1999, has a long history. It is the settlement of Gaotao tribe, one of the four saints of justice in the ancient times, with historical remains such as Gaotao's tomb and Han Wang's tomb. It is the hometown of the veterinary double saint Yuanheng brothers, Tu Zongying, the military minister of the Qing Dynasty, Xiong Benbian, the Taiwan Daotai, and Zhu Yunshan, an outstanding patriotic democrat.
