Handicap Town, part of Feidong County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the southern part of Feidong County, bordering Qiaotoujie Town to the east, Changlinhe Town to the south, Nanfanghe River to the west, and Baohai and Yaohai Districts, and Dianbu Town to the north, with an administrative area of 113.1 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Handicap Town was 77,036. During the Republic of China (R.O.C.) period, the town of Xiezhen belonged to the second political district of East Hefei County; in January 1965, it was divided into the town of Xiezhen and the Xiezhen Commune; in June 1984, the Xiezhen Commune was changed to a township and later merged into the town of Xiezhen; and in November 2006, the townships of Longtang and Changle were merged into the town of Xiezhen. As of June 2020, Summary Town has 17 communities and 1 administrative village under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government based in Pioneer Community. In 2019, there were 521 industrial enterprises in Xiezhi Town, of which 104 were above scale, and 125 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
