Badou Town, belonging to Feidong County, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the northern part of Feidong County, bordering Gucheng Town in the east, neighboring Zhangji Township and Liangyuan Township in the south, connecting Yangdian Township in the southwest, Bailong Township in the west, connecting Jiangjizhen Township of Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City in the northwest, and connecting with Rangguang Township in the north, with an area of 179.7 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Badou Town was 79,719.
During the Three Kingdoms period, it belonged to the land of Wei; in February 1992, the district was withdrawn to establish a town, and Badou Township merged with Huazhang Township to form Badou Town; in 2006, Wangcheng Township and Fuwang Township were incorporated. As of June 2020, Badou Township has 11 communities and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Badou Community.
