Yanglin Town, belonging to Songming County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, is located in the south of Songming County territory, neighboring Niulanjiang Town in the east, Yiliang County in the south, connected with Guandu District, Kunming City in the west, and Songyang Street in the north, and is 12 kilometers away from Songming County, with a total area of 162.7 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Yanglin Town has a household population of 60,754. During the Han Dynasty, the realm of the current Yanglin Town belonged to Muwu County; in December 1987, Yanglin District was withdrawn and Yanglin Town was set up.
