Dulong Deqing District is a district of Lhasa in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, located in the south-central part of the Tibet Autonomous Region and the western part of Lhasa, with a total area of 2,704.25 square kilometers, and jurisdiction over 2 streets, 4 towns, and 1 township, with the People's Government of the district stationed at No. 1, Unity Road, Dongga Town. According to the seventh census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, Dulong Deqing district resident population of 91,065 people.
Dulong Deqing, Tibetan meaning "on the valley of extreme happiness". District is located in the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River valley, Nianqing Tanggula mountain south foothills, the average altitude of about 4500 meters, the terrain northwest high, southeast low. Lhasa River, Dulong River flows through the territory. Solar energy, water energy, geothermal resources are abundant. Tourist attractions include Chubu Monastery, Sangmu Folk Natural Village, Qiu Sang Hot Spring and so on. Gurong tsampa is the specialty of Dulong Deqing.
Agriculture and animal husbandry is the economic foundation of Dulong Deqing. Into the 21st century, especially after the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the manufacturing industry, trade and circulation industry has become the leading industry in Dulong Deqing. Lhasa National Economic and Technological Development Zone and Liwu New District are located in the territory, docking with the main city of Lhasa.In 2019, Dulong Deqing realized a GDP of 5.516 billion yuan, the general public budget revenue completed 1.203 billion yuan, and the per capita disposable income of farmers and herdsmen was 17,531 yuan.

In October 2018, the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region formally approved that Dulong Deqing District withdrew from the poverty-stricken counties (districts).On December 29, 2018, it was named the sixth batch of national ethnic unity and progress creation demonstration districts (units) by the State People's Committee.
