Bachu Town, belonging to Bachu County, Kashgar Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Bachu County, bordering with Dolaitibag Township in the east, Bachu County Horticultural Farm and Good Seed Farm in the south, Anakul Township in the west, and Anakul Township in the north, with a total area of 14.9 square kilometers.
In 1950, the area of Bachu Town was under Chengguan District (District 1); in 1984, it was changed from Chengguan Commune to Bachu Town. As of the end of 2018, the registered population of Bachu Town was 58,274.In 2019, Bachu Town was under the jurisdiction of 21 communities, with the people's government stationed in Brakbehi Community.
Grain crops in Bachu Town are mainly wheat and corn; the main cash crops are cotton, etc.; and animal husbandry is based on raising sheep, hogs, and poultry.
