Xiaozhan Town, belonging to Tianjin Jinnan District, is located in the southeastern part of Jinnan District, adjacent to Gegu Town in the east, intersecting with Dagang Street of Binhai New Area in the south, connected with Baliutai Town in the west, and bordering with Beizhakou Town and Shuangqiaoxie Town in the north, with the town's administrative area of 60 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Xiaoshan Town had a household population of 64,616. In August 1949, Xiaoshan City was changed to Xiaoshan Town.In August 1958, Xiaoshan People's Commune was established.In June 1985, Xiaoshan was merged with Xiaoshan Town. As of June 2020, Xiaoshan Town has 11 communities and 18 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Qianying Road, Xiaoshan Town, Jinnan District, Tianjin. In 2016, the gross regional product of Xiaoshan Town was 6.514 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 8.9%. Fixed asset investment completed 10.04 billion yuan, up 7.9% year-on-year. As of the end of 2019, there were 722 industrial enterprises in Xiaoshan Town, of which 74 were above scale, and there were 81 supermarkets or general stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
