Changning Town, belonging to Shanxi Province Linfen City, Xiangning County, is located in the north-central part of Xiangning County, east of the head of the town, south of Yizhuang Township, west of Zaoling Township, north of Jixianzhongli Township. The total area is 231.38 square kilometers. In 1949, it belonged to the first district of Xiangning County.In March 2001, Zhangma Township and Chengguan Township merged into Changning Town.
