Qu'e Town, belonging to Shanxi Province, Linfen City, Daning County, is located in the western part of Daning County, east of Xinshui Town, south and Taikoo Township adjacent to the west and Xujiali Township connected to the north and the Yonghe County Jiaokou Township border, the township people's government is located in the county seat from the county town of about 15 kilometers. The total administrative area is 183.24 square kilometers.
In 1949, it belonged to the third district of Daning County.In 1956, it was divided into three townships of Qu'e, Beisang'e, and Yucun.In June 1958, it belonged to Xi'anning County.In September 1958, it belonged to Lvliang County.In 1961, it was restored to Daning County.In 1961, it was set up as Qu'e Commune.In 1984, it was changed to Qu'e Township.In October 2001, Yucun Township was merged into Qu'e Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Qu'e Town was 10,509. As of June 2020, Qu'e Township has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Qufeng Village.
