Wuxiang County, under the Shanxi Province, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, the southeastern part of Changzhi City, the northernmost, east of Licheng County, Zuoquan County, the western boundary of Qixian County, Pingyao County, the north and Yushe County adjacent to the south and Qin County, Xiangyuan County border. The county has a total area of 1,610 square kilometers, with 6 towns, 6 townships and 269 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, the total population of Wuxiang County is 149,800 people. Wuxiang County stretches between the Taihang and Taiyue mountains, the terrain is high in the east and west, low in the middle, like Ruyi. The main rivers in the territory are Turbid Zhang North Source, Nei River, Mamou River, Changyuan River, Yunzu River, Hongshui River. Taijiao Railway, Tai Chang Highway, National Highway 208 runs through the north and south, Wuzhuo Railway, Nanqin Highway, Quanma Highway crosses the east and west, and Donglv Highway crosses the western part of Wuxiang. Mineral resources mainly include coal, iron, dolomite, limestone, marble, bauxite, diatomaceous earth and natural mineral water. In 2022, Wuxiang County realizes a gross regional product of 11.46 billion yuan, which is 8.2% higher than the growth rate at constant prices.
