The Changzhi High-Tech Zone, located adjacent to Luzhou District in Changzhi City, is one of the key areas for future urban development and has already become an integral part of the city center. In particular, following its expansion and reorganization, the High-Tech Zone is now just a 15-minute drive west and north of the Changtai and Changhan Expressway interchanges. Both Changzhi Airport and the Changzhi Station of the Taijiao High-Speed Railway—currently under construction—have been incorporated into the High-Tech Zone’s administrative jurisdiction, laying a solid foundation for the zone to establish itself as a new hub for opening up to the outside world.
In recent years, we have focused on developing specialized industrial parks as a vehicle for promoting industrial cluster growth. The “Western-Style Industrial Park” in Changzhi High-Tech Zone, a key development project, has taken shape, and a modern integrated park combining a machinery manufacturing park, a technology industrial park, and an electrical industrial park has begun to emerge. Located in the northwestern part of Changzhi High-Tech Zone, the first phase of the “Western-Style Industrial Park” covers an area of 35.6 hectares (approximately 530 mu).The park features comprehensive supporting facilities, well-connected utility networks and roads, and a beautiful ecological environment. Currently, 18 high-tech enterprises have established operations within the park. The Science and Technology Industrial Park, with a planned area of 1,300 mu, has commenced construction, and work on the main thoroughfares and various infrastructure projects within the park is now in full swing. Construction of the Electrical Industrial Park began in 2004 and has also taken shape.
