The Kangzhuang High-Tech Industrial Park in Tunliu District is located in the southeastern part of Tunliu District, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, on the outskirts of Changzhi. It is situated at the intersection of National Highway 208, National Highway 309, the Changtai Expressway, the Changjin Expressway, the Changzhi Connector Road, and the Tunliu Connector Road, offering convenient transportation and a mild climate.
With its flat terrain and shallow water levels, the area boasts unique natural and locational advantages.Currently, the park is home to 41 enterprises with over 5,000 employees, generating a total revenue of 2.7 billion yuan from science, industry, and trade; a GDP of 2.9 billion yuan; and profits and taxes of 590 million yuan. As the only high-tech-supported light industrial park in Tunliu County, its clean and environmentally friendly production and green industrial model represent the development direction of Tunliu’s new industrial base. It is designated as a key construction zone and one of the first demonstration zones in Shanxi Province.
The Kangzhuang Industrial Park encompasses 11 administrative villages, including Changzhen, Beili, Dongshi, Xishi, Shize, Shizezhuang, and Gaotousi, with a total of 3,270 households, 13,460 residents, and 425 Party members. The area has 22,469 mu of arable land, and the per capita net income stands at 7,780 yuan.There are no rural enterprises, and the collective economy of the villages is weak; farmers’ main sources of income are labor migration, vegetable farming, and grain cultivation.
The industrial park currently houses a police station, a rural credit cooperative, and service counters for China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Netcom. Services related to industry and commerce, postal services, taxation, land administration, and electricity are all handled by agencies in Ligao. The health center operates as a branch of the Ligao Health Center, conducting business in leased premises.
In accordance with the requirements to optimize industrial structure, transform growth models, and enhance innovation capabilities, the industrial zone has taken new strides in its transformation and development. It has introduced the Lu’an High-Purity Polysilicon Project, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan. The project has an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of high-purity silicon, with an estimated output value of 9 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 1.6 billion yuan. Phase I has a capacity of 3,500 tons, with an investment of 3.5 billion yuan, an output value of 3.6 billion yuan, and profits and taxes of 500 million yuan;The HF emulsion oil project, with a total investment of 200 million yuan, is a key project under the National Torch Program, generating annual sales revenue of 680 million yuan and profits and taxes of 130 million yuan; the Antai mining protective clothing project, with a total investment of 150 million yuan, has an annual production capacity of 500,000 sets of protective clothing, generating profits and taxes of 110 million yuan; and the Tsinghua high-end hydraulic support project, with a total investment of 260 million yuan, has an output value of 1 billion yuan and generates profits and taxes of 180 million yuan.By the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period, total industrial output value is projected to reach 10 billion yuan, with profits and taxes reaching 2 billion yuan.
