Changle Town, belonging to Pinglu County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, is located in the western part of Pinglu County, east of Zhangcun Town, south of the Yellow River and Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, west of Hongchi Township, southwest of the corner of Ruicheng County, Ruicheng County, Mornan Township border, north of the Zhongtiao Mountain and Yanhu District, Xiezhou Township, about 40 kilometers away from the county town of Pinglu County, with a total area of 158.84 square kilometers. In 1949, the territory of Changle Town belonged to the fifth district of Pinglu County; in September 1984, it was changed from Changle Commune to Changle Town. As of the end of 2018, Changle Town had a household population of 44,898. As of June 2020, Changle Town has 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2018, Changle Town had 15 industrial enterprises and 28 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
