Jishan County, belongs to Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. It is located in the southwestern part of Shanxi Province, directly north of Yuncheng City. It has a total area of 686 square kilometers. As of June 2023, Jishan County has five towns and two townships under its jurisdiction.In 2022, Jishan County had a resident population of 307,500 people. In the Northern Wei Dynasty, Gaoliang County was established, and in the Sui Dynasty, it was changed to Jishan County.In 2000, Jishan County belonged to Yuncheng City.
