Zichang City, county-level city in Shaanxi Province, administered by Yan'an City, is located in the middle of the Loess Plateau, depending on the Hengshan Mountains in the north, Zizhou County and Qingjian County in the east, Yanchuan County and Yan'an City in the south, and Ansai District and Jingbian County in the west, with a total area of 2,405 square kilometers. Ten soldiers of Zicang nationality have been awarded the rank of Major General or above, and Zicang is known as "Red Capital" and "Generals' County".
