Gejia Town, Wendeng District, Weihai City, Shandong Province, under the jurisdiction of the town, is located in the northern part of Wendeng District, bordering Mishan Town in the east, Xiaoguan Town and Zetou Town in the south, Fengjia Town in Lushan City in the west, Juguangzhuang Town in Muping District of Yantai City in the west, and adjoining the town of Jieshi in the north. The administrative area covers 185.28 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Gejia Town had a household population of 51,677. In February-July 1958, it was merged into Gejia Town; in September of the same year, it was established as Dengta Commune, which was later changed to Gejia Commune.In March 1984, the society was abolished and Gejia Town was established.In May 2001, Puji Town was incorporated. As of June 2020, Gejia Town has 68 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
