Yangting Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huanjui District, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwestern part of Weihai City, neighboring Xiyuan Street to the east, Wangtong Town to the south, Chucun Town to the west and Zhangcun Town to the north. The administrative area is 70.35 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Yangting Town had a household population of 22,765. In February 1956, it was changed to Wendeng County; in June of the same year, the townships of Yangting, Gangtou and Beiguan were transferred to Weihai City; in September of the same year, Yangting Township was established; in August 1958, Yangting Commune was established; in April 1984, it was reorganized as Yangting Town. As of June 2020, Yangting Town has 25 administrative villages and 8 communities under its jurisdiction. At the end of 2011, the total financial revenue of Yangting Town was 208.31 billion yuan, an increase of 261% over the previous year. Among them, the local financial revenue was 786 billion yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 14.52 million yuan, value-added tax 29 million yuan, corporate income tax 32.45 million yuan, personal income tax 3.55 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 34.8%, 23.6%, 21.5%, 5.2% over the previous year. Per capita fiscal revenue was RMB 8722, an increase of 27.6% over the previous year.In 2011, the gross value of agricultural output reached RMB 296.72 million, an increase of RMB 7.17 million over the previous year, an increase of 2.47%, and accounted for 4.35% of the gross domestic product (GDP). The per capita net income of farmers was 12,062 yuan.In 2018, there were 392 industrial enterprises in Yangting Township, of which 38 were above scale, and there were 81 general stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
