Shimen Town is located in the south of Linshu County, neighboring Donghai County of Jiangsu Province in the south, bordering Tancheng County in the southwest, neighboring Diantou Town and Caozhuang Town in the north, and Daxing Town in the east. The town covers an area of 129.66 square kilometers, with a total of 75 natural villages and 53,300 people (2017) in 29 administrative villages (streets). The town government is located in Shimen. Shimen town has a long history, the territory of the "Shimen night rain" is one of the eight ancient Tan Tan. Convenient transportation, S225 provincial highway runs through the whole territory.
