Zhifu District, belonging to Yantai City, Shandong Province, Zhifu District is the central district of Yantai City, located in the northeastern part of the Shandong Peninsula, between longitude 121°16'-121°25' East and latitude 37°24'-37°38' North, with an area of 179.2 square kilometers and a coastline of 55 kilometers. According to the seventh census, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, Zhifu District had a resident population of 877,237 people. As of 2018, Zhifu District has 12 streets under its jurisdiction, and the district's people's government is located at 76 Shifu Street, Xiangyang Street.

According to the White Stone Village site, Zhifu District, as early as 7000 years ago, about the Neolithic period there are human habitation, living and reproducing. Republic of China thirty-four years (1945) in August, after the liberation of Yantai, assigned to the Jiaodong Administrative Region. 1958, Laiyang sub-prefecture, Yantai City, merged into the Yantai region. 1983 November, the abolition of Yantai region, the formation of prefecture-level Yantai City, the original Yantai City into a new city of municipalities district - Zhifu District.
In 2022, Zhifu District realized a GDP of 117.332 billion yuan, an increase of 5.0% over 2021.
