Laoshan District, Qingdao, Shandong Province, is the city center of Qingdao, located in the south of Shandong Peninsula, southeast of Qingdao city, on the shore of the Yellow Sea. It is bordered by the Yellow Sea in the east and south, neighboring Qingdao Shinan District and Shibei District in the west, Licang District in the northwest, and Qingdao Chengyang District and Jimo District in the north.
