Fei County, belonging to Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the south-central Shandong Province, west of Linyi City. East of Lanshan, west of Pingyi, south of Luling, north along the Mengshan Mountains from northwest to southeast of Linyin, Yinan, resident Feicheng east to Tangyi and other industrial towns and urban areas seamlessly, the East City New District and the Economic Development Zone is adjacent to the west of Linyi New City and the Linyi North City New District, industrial cross-fertilization and formation of trade, logistics and industrial core area. The total administrative area is 1,660 square kilometers, and as of 2022, Fei County has a resident population of 930,000 people.
Feixian is the hometown of world longevity, the capital of Chinese strange stones, the national garden city, the national sanitary city, the national advanced county of scientific and technological progress, the best investment city in Shandong Province, the best eco-tourism city in Shandong Province, and the provincial civilized city. In ancient times, Fei County was the land of Shaohao, the leader of the Eastern Barbarians tribe. In the first year of Duke Xi of Lu (659 B.C.), Feixian became the private county (also called Caiyi) of Jiyou, the upper secretary of the state of Lu. After the second year of Duke Yuan of Lu (427 BC), the Jisun clan, descendants of Jiyou, established themselves as the state of Huan, and in November 1953, the Fei County People's Government was renamed the Fei County People's Committee, and in December 1994 the Linyi Administrative Office was reorganized as the city of Linyi, to which Fei County was still subordinate. As of October 2022, Fei County has 1 street, 10 towns, and 1 township under its jurisdiction, with the county government stationed in Feicheng Street.
